Happy Friday, everyone!

You know, this week has been a good week. My papa called and sent me a beautiful present. And he's going to come and see me soon! And to top it all off, I had the most wonderful time yesterday. Simon is the sweetest most wonderful person and I don't care if it embarrasses him horribly that I'm writing this where everyone can see. Everyone should know it and they should be jealous because he's mine and he's wonderful!

So anyway, what is everyone up to this weekend? Is there anything remotely interesting going on on the island? I think a night of popcorn eating and movie watching is in order at some point.

Don't you all just love Mondays? It's like a fresh start really, a whole new week! And I have a feeling that this is going to be a good one, even if there are parts of it that I am slightly dreading. Like the talk with Frankie. But there will be some high points too, I'm sure. Like my date with Simon that I am going to make sure happens this week. I just feel so happy and hopeful this week and Papa called this morning to tell me to watch for a package that's coming for me and I just can't wait to see what's in it! It's bound to be lovely. Things just seem to be working out really well right now and that hasn't happened for a long time. It's a nice feeling. I hope it stays for a while.

I really hate the full moon. No offense to you furries, but knowing that you all are out there running around in the moonlight doing who only knows what really gives me the creeps. I'm so glad that I never have to worry about being one of you. I do not think I could handle it. You are all much stronger than me being able to live through that.

In other news, I know I have been impossibly quiet since my return from New York, but I've been quite busy. The trip went well, however. Things are good with Papa again and as far as my mother goes... Well I pretty much spent the entire weekend ignoring her which worked out well enough. I've never really been able to just blow the things that she says off before. Maybe this means I am one step closer to telling her where to shove all of her neurosis.

Rumor has it that Heaven and Hell closed and now it's The Pit and the Loft? Is this correct? Has anyone had the chance to go yet or is it still not open? Someone will have to give me a review as soon as possible. The old place was a little "meh" so maybe the new place will be much nicer. One can only hope.

Also, I have a new guide? Who are you and would you care to introduce yourself? It's a shame the Miss Errona left. She and I got along so well. And now I won't know who to ask if the leaves of the plant she gave me start to turn dark.

I go away for a weekend and half of the school leaves! Things like that could really start to go to a girl's head.

So, lovely people, as much as I know it will pain you all I am afraid I have some bad news. I will be out of town starting early in the morning until Sunday night. I am going to New York to visit my papa (yay!) and my mother (boo!). Thankfully Starbuck is a lifesaver and has agreed to go with me and be my knight in shining armor to save me from my mother's berating ways so it shouldn't be too terrible. But alas, I will miss all of whom I care about while gone and will be sure to bring back souvenirs for those of you that matter.

In other news, I am so incredibly bored. Anyone have any ideas about things I could do that don't require me to exert to much physical strength? Three days later and I am still completely exhausted. Perhaps there's a good spa on the island somewhere that someone could point me in the direction of?

Papa phoned today. My mother is such a fucking liar and a cunt. I really miss New York.

I will be honest. This is the first time that I have attended anything remotely resembling "public" school. I am just a little bit nervous about it. So I was thinking that if I could maybe get to know the people I am in classes with, it might make it a bit less intimidating. My Class schedule is as follows:

Early Morning: Magic Use: Water
Late Morning: Magic Use: Fire
Mid Afternoon: Art: Photography
