I don't mind you coming here and wasting all my time

First off, Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there! This is an exciting day for me even though it's not technically my first Mother's Day. I was in labor last Mother's Day and Grace was born just minutes before the day ended. So this is my first FULL Mother's Day with my beautiful daughter in my life. And tomorrow she's going to be ONE YEAR OLD! That's so hard to imagine. But in light of this comes my second point.

Tomorrow is Grace's first birthday! I've decided to have a party for her tomorrow evening just after sunset. I wanted the party to be outside at the gazebo, sadly it is supposed to rain which would have foiled my plans, but thanks to the lovely Blake Elliot and any witchy assistance he may need, the area around the gazebo will be charmed so that the rain with slide off to the sides of it, like a huge invisible umbrella, so that I can still have her party there. I'll have some refreshments, hopefully things to suit every palate thanks to Bastian Rhodes and the rest of the kitchen staff, and Shelly St. Peter, our resident baker of yummy goodies, has graciously offered to make the cakes, a big one for the guests and a little smash cake for Gracie so she can get all messy.

I know that times are crazy for a lot of you right now so if you can't come for a good reason, I get that, but I hope to see most of you there. Crazy times or not, Grace only gets one first birthday, and it wouldn't be the same without those of you who have been a huge part of her first year of life and who will hopefully remain a part of her life forever.

Okay, people. I have a couple of announcements to make per the director's request so please pay attention!

1 - We are aware that there was an issue with powers switching at random at some point in time last night. We are working on identifying the issue and resolving the issue at this time. Please try and remain calm.

2 - Students and staff are expected to attend work/school as scheduled unless there are extenuating circumstances as to why you cannot attend. For example, if you have been turned into an unholy being and were previously a holy being and would therefore be caused extreme pain by attending your courses related to your previous race, you are excused from class. Teachers, if you are unable to teach your course due to your racial change, then you need to announce that your individual class has been cancelled. If you do not have extenuating circumstances and are not present for work/school, you will be held accountable.

3 - There are still healers on staff who have retained their ability to heal. They will be staffing the infirmary. If you were a healer before but are not a healer now, please do what you can to assist as most of you have basic medical knowledge that could be helpful at this time

4 - New and former vampires are requested to exhibit caution. If you are a new vampire, please locate a current or former vampire that can assist you with handling your bloodlust. There is housing available on campus, as well, if you need a place to stay. You can use the tunnels to safely go to and from the buildings. If you were a vampire before and are not one now, do not go sunbathing if at all possible. This could change at any time and we do not wish for any of you to turn to dust. Make sure that you remain close to cover at all times when outside during the daytime.

5 - All current and former lycanthropes need to use caution at the time of the full moon. If you have remained a lycanthrope, you know what to do. If you are new at this, please report to the main quad before moonrise on Saturday evening. If you were a lycanthrope before but are not one now, please report to the rear quad before moonrise on Saturday evening so precautions can be taken in case a switch were to occur while the moon is out.

Okay guys, here's a list of everyone and the ones that I have confirmation of so far. If you have information about anyone on this list who doesn't have a yes for affected or a no for unaffected, let me know. We need to try to fan out and locate anyone that we're not sure about yet. There's a lot, so we've really got to get it together and figure this all out.

Also, if you require security at any point, contact Nadasha at XXX-XXXX. She is going to be heading up that department and coordinating any volunteers.

Oh, and this pretty much goes without saying but just for the sake of making it formal, I'm gong to go ahead and say that classes are canceled until further notice. An announcement will be made, I'm sure, once they're ready to resume.

What the fuck is going on here? Does anyone know for sure? Has anyone seen Godric? Or Hope? Or even Blake? Wesley maybe? I have no idea where anyone is! I'm starting to freak out just a little.

Who's on security right now? Anyone? We need to figure that out. That's the first thing. We can't have people all.. running around off campus getting hurt or lost until we figure out a way to fix this.

We need a game plan. Okay.

First, reply to this if you're normal. We need to get this place locked down! If any members of security are normal, that would be GREAT. If not, we may have to pool some of the unaffected students together to make this happen. I have access to rosters, staff and students both. We need to get everyone in a central location and check to make sure we have everybody, get a list going of everyone that's affected. We need to figure out when and how this happened so we can figure out a way to make it unhappen. Who's with me on this?

I need Godric. He'd know how to deal with this. Has anyone seen him? And why isn't Tiger answering his phone?!?!?
