Professor Boyd,

I understand that it is far too late to audition for the play as roles have already been cast, but I was curious as to whether or not you needed any help behind stage. I would have auditioned, but I just recently found out that I'm pregnant, and up until a few days ago, it was still rather up in the air as to whether or not I would even be a student here much longer, but now that I know that I will be here, I'd really love to assist. I don't have any real experience and I can't do anything terribly strenuous for obvious reasons, but if there's some role that you think I'd fit off stage, I'd be more than happy to help out.
