She has soft curves and supple breasts. Her natural hair color is blond and she rarely strays from that. Her eyes are a striking shade of blue. She takes after her mother almost completely and looks nothing like the Italian side of her family. Distinguishing marks: Cissy has a small tattoo of a butterfly on the inside of her left ankle. She tends to cover it up most of the time, however, at least when she is home, for fear that her papa might see it. He would not be happy. She is a spoiled brat who likes to have the best of everything and settles for nothing less. She likes to be the center of attention and will go to insane lengths to get that. She tends to be a bit of a pathological liar. She has a very intense personality and tends to form strong bonds with people around her quickly. Those bonds falter just as quickly, however, as she is very prone to growing bored with people just as easily as she does her things. She is very dramatic and will do almost anything if pushed in the right direction. She is a tattle-tale, a flirt, and a complete girly girl. And a tease. Let's not forget that part. Nothing appeases her more than driving a man insane before giving him what he wants. Personal Background: Cissy was pretty much doomed to be a mess from her date of birth. Her parents, Dante and Anja, were mismatched from the very beginning. They never would have even met one another, what with Dante hating the cold and Anja disliking the heat, had Dante not been scheduled to make a flight into Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. To really get an idea about all of this, one would have to go back to the beginning. Dante Vallario was born to a fairly typical Italian/American family that lived right inside of Chi-town. The only thing that really set him apart was the fact that he was a fire mage, something he learned to control, through the help of a good education at Halcyon Halls, at a fairly young age. He was the daredevil of the family, the one that wanted to do something intense with his life, and that was what drove him to join the service as soon as he turned eighteen. It wasn't an easy feat considering his heritage, but miraculously he managed to make his way into the Naval academy, and soon thereafter he enlisted in a pilot program. Being a pilot was the fast, dangerous life he was looking for. Of course all good things have to come to an end, and after suspicions were raised due to some strange occurences, Dante managed to get discharged, honorably of course, and returned to Chicago completely miserable and dejected. Fast forward a few years, Dante decided to become a pilot for commercial airline service. This provided a slight thrill, though not nearly as much as flying with the Navy, a bit of danger, though again not nearly as much as his Navy service, and the opportunity to travel. That was the biggest perk of all, not to mention the cash flow, which he invested wisely. It didn't take him long to hit it rich on the stock market, becoming the most wealthy Vallario of all. Jump ahead a few more years, Dante accepts a flight that sends him to Greenland with a two day layover. Everything in his life changed while he was there. By this point in time, Dante's younger brother, Slick, was already married and had already adopted a child. He was a pretty established man in Chicago, a fireman which was quite suitable for their particular breed, and though Dante did not dislike his own life, he envied at least part of what Slick had. So when he met Anja, with whom he felt instant sparks, he didn't hesitate to make her his wife. They courted and were wed in the course of forty-eight hours and both on a plane back to Chicago. What started quickly progressed just as quickly and it was mere weeks after their marriage when Anja discovered that she was with child. One that went into the relationship logically would have foreseen the complications that would arise when an ice demon and a fire mage got together, but neither of them had given it much thought until it was too late. Chicago was far too hot a climate for Anja and Dante hated Greenland, but he gave in, going back with her to Kangerlussuaq for the duration of her pregnancy, working for Air Greenland in the meantime. Cecilia came into the world in October, a little bundle of fire and ice, screaming at the top of her lungs from day one. Because he had grown up in a close knit family, Dante wanted the same for his little girl. After much insistance, when Cissy was at the age of two, they relocated to Chicago full-time so he could be close to his brother. Dante traveled a lot, Anja stayed home with the air conditioning turned down way too low, and Cissy spent a lot of time at her uncle's house. The little girl could wrap just about any man around her finger, including him, though to those close to her own age, namely her cousin Frankie who was two years her senior, it was obvious that she was a little devil in disguise. In order to make up for the fact that he barely saw her, Dante spoiled the girl mercilessly. She got whatever she wanted whenever she wanted and Anja did not care enough to stop him. Cissy floated between her uncle's house, her father's house in Chicago, the random worldwide destinations that she accompanied her father to, and, eventually, her mother's home in Greenland. She was far too lazy to ever learn how to speak Danish but she never spent enough time there for it to really matter. Her upbringing was basically screwed and when she started to come into her powers, it only got worse. Cissy had to be home schooled. Her father didn't want to send her away somewhere but she could not attend public school when she randomly froze and burned things alternately. Tutors were hired, those of supernatural standing, to educate her as best as they could, and to attempt to teach her the things she needed to know about her two very opposing heritages. It never really worked out too well. Cissy was a very bright girl but had no desire to apply herself, far too infatuated with everything else about her life to bother with her education. Dante was clueless, of course, and simply continued to indulge her increasingly demanding lifestyle. Years passed and Cissy grew in body but never really grew up. As she got older, she spent less and less time with her uncle and her cousins, she had three by that time, but still continued to visit on a somewhat regular basis, flaunting everything she had versus everything that Frankie did not and wooing her uncle Slick with her sweeter than sugar routine. Puberty had been a rough time as far as her powers were concerned but as she got older, her powers became less and less of an issue, less sporadic, less dangerous, but no less conflicted than before. Another tutor was hired, one for the specific reason of teaching her how to use her skills. At this point in time, she had relocated to New York, her father having taken a job at JFK. He wasn't home much and her mother was there even less. She had the posh penthouse suite to herself and never neglected to use it to have a good time. Cissy never drank. She never used drugs. But boy did she like to party. And shop. She shopped almost constantly. If there was one addiction she did have, it was probably sex, but not just normal sex, sex with men twice her age, sex with men who wore uniforms, men who were in the military, sex with men who were married and had children nearly as old as she was. It was her mother who found this out. She flew in from Greenland to surprise Dante on his birthday only to walk in on Cissy and her tutor having some pretty kinky sex on the living room floor. She threatened his life and sent him on his way. It was time to put the reigns on her daughter. Cissy was given two choices. The first choice was that Anja told her father about the affair she had been having. This was not an option. Dante thought she was an angel and his heart would be broken to find out otherwise. The second choice was to willingly submit herself to a formal education at a school dedicated to people like her, Dante's alma mater, Halcyon Halls. There was no other option. When Dante returned from his trip, Cissy read what her mother laid out for her like she was reading from a book. She wanted to go. She wanted to learn. This was her idea. Calls were made and it was arranged for her to go as soon as the new semester started. She found out soon thereafter that not only would her cousin Frankie be there, her cousin Vinnie would be going as well. She could only imagine what a happy family reunion that was going to be. Family: Father - Dante Massimo Vallario Mother - Anja Lisbet Kristensen-Vallario Uncle - Sylvarius Vallario Aunt - Bianca Vallario Cousins - Francesca Vallario, Vincenzo Vallario, and Salvatore Vallario Weakness: Because of what she is, her weaknesses are almost as messed up as her strengths. She is weak to fire, in spite of being a fire mage, and is also weak to extreme cold, in spite of being part ice demon. These weaknesses are not as great as they would be were she one or the other, but they are still an incredible inconveinence. In addition to that, she will not live as long as a full-blooded demon and does not have the same strength and speed, but she will live longer than a normal fire mage and is much stronger and quicker than they are. In other words, she is just as much a mess in this aspect as she is in personality. Her personal weaknesses are older men with nice smiles and glasses, men in uniform, Gucci bags, Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses, Prada footwear, Roca Wear, small, ankle biter dogs, True Religion jeans, and anything that someone else has that is better than what she has of similar type. She is also a sucker for spa days and movies with cute men like Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Jude Law, and Adrian Brody. She's a total headcase when it comes to emo boy bands and hates bands that have girls as the lead singer because she can't carry a tune in a bucket, except for Fergie who is so Fergalicious! Magical Abilities: Her magical abilities are incredibly screwed up. She can control fire, to an extent, or would be able to with some training, but because of the ice mage part of her, she can only control small amounts and it completely exhausts her. The same goes for ice. She could learn ice control as well, but because of the fire mage part of her, she can only handle so much and it drains her of all energy. Really, her magics are so incompatible that she will probably never learn to control either one of them and will continue to randomly set things on fire or freeze things. In addition to this, any real use of magic, intentional or otherwise, is quite painful which often times makes her wish that she had no magic at all. Any Training: Cissy had a teacher, a private tutor, so that she wouldn't have to go to a formal school, who attempted to train her to better use her abilities. He was an ice mage so he was really no help with the fire part but it was decided that she would get to that part after mastering the first, so as not to overwhelm the poor girl. Unfortunately, all of her training amounted to pretty much nothing since their study sessions soon turned into an illicit affair, the man was married, and all she really learned how to do was to stop freezing things when she sneezes though she still sets things on fire from time to time. Special Skills: Any special skills she has involves batting her lashes and being quick with the plastic. She can charge thousands of dollars in merchandise faster than someone could blink their eye and when she bats her lashes and pouts, she can get away with murder, practically. The only skill she has that is of any typical use would be her ability to cook. She is like a gourmet chef in the kitchen only she hardly eats. When she does, she is definitely the type to binge and then purge. She is so not wearing cream sauce on her thighs! That's why she mostly sticks to her diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, and rice cakes. She only cooks for fun, not for the sake of her own taste buds.
